Totus Tuus is latin meaning "Totally Yours". It was the motto of Pope John Paul II and was coined by St. Louis Marie de Montfort.
Totus Tuus employees college students from throughout the state and nation to come to your parish and assist in the formation of your young people. In addition to being a great supplement to your parish religious formation program, Totus Tuus presents your youth with an opportunity to experience the joy of their Catholic faith as well.
Parish Registration Forms are available on the first Friday of September annually.
The deadline for parish requests for Totus Tuus for the Summer of 2023 is February 13, 2023. Weeks will be assigned based upon parish accommodation of the Totus Tuus Program on a first-come-first-serve basis. Hurry and contact us to request your dates and reserve a team (or two, or three) at your parish!
**Your request will not be reviewed until all outstanding balances from the previous summer are paid in full.**
WE ARE HIRING MISSIONARIES! If you know a young adult who would do amazing- please speak with them and point them in the direction of the Missionary application!
NOTE: Totus Tuus of Oklahoma and the host parish are beginning the resumption of parish activities. RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH CORONAVIRUS/COVID-19: Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) has sickened thousands and killed hundreds in Oklahoma. There is substantial evidence of community spread of COVID-19 throughout Oklahoma and most other states. Totus Tuus of Oklahoma and the host parish are following guidance from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Oklahoma State Department of Health and other agencies, and has implemented social distancing measures, increased hand-washing and other hygienic practices, and frequent cleaning of common surfaces. Despite such precautions, the risks associated with transmission of COVID-19 remain high. Individuals participating in an activity may have traveled from other cities or states to participate. In addition, the nature of some activities makes it impossible to observe all of the recommended precautions all of the time; for example, individuals will not always be six feet apart, surfaces will not always be free of viruses and other communicable diseases/viruses, etc. Even where the activity allows social distancing, it will be impossible for the parish to ensure that all participants are observing all the recommended precautions. As a result of participation in parish activities, you or your child will be exposed to the risk of infection of communicable diseases, including COVID-19. Symptoms associated with COVID-19 range from mild to severe, and include fever, cough, difficulty breathing, headache, nausea, severe respiratory distress and death. By participating in parish activities or allowing your child to participate you knowingly and voluntarily assume the risk associated with participation.
Below are additional Accommodation Recommendations & Requirements to assist you in the discernment of hosting a team this summer.
