The Diocese of Tulsa will be hosting Catholic Summer Camp for junior high youth in grades 6-8 at Sequoyah State Park Group Camp June 28-July 2, 2021.
Camp is an opportunity for youth from over eastern Oklahoma to make new friends, to have fun in the sun, and most importantly, to grow in their relationship with Christ. Mass, praise and worship, hiking, arts-n-crafts, water games and so much more are but a part of the daily schedule.
Campers live the cabin lifestyle with 8-12 cabin mates led by 2-4 camp counselors which gives our campers an opportunity to build a community and friendships to last a lifetime.
A sample daily schedule can be found below.
We aim to accommodate every food allergy and restriction. If your child has specific dietary needs, please be sure to include it on their registration form.
DIOCESE OF TULSA YOUTH DIRECTOR & COORDINATOR
BRIAN - CAMP NURSE/FIRST RESPONDER
Brian is our super-volunteer! He is a volunteer firefighter in rural Oklahoma and serves Boy Scout camps throughout the summer.
TOTUS TUUS MISSIONARIES
Counselors are Totus Tuus missionaries who have been trained to teach the faith and to accompany campers in nurturing their relationship with Christ.
At least one priest will be present to campers for the duration of camp. We believe having a priest at camp helps us meet the spiritual needs of our campers while fostering vocational discernment.
Our camp counselors are vibrant, young adult Catholics who can not wait to share Jesus with the youth this summer!
All staff undergo extensive training. All adhere to Diocesan Safe Environment Policies and Procedures including background checks and VIRTUS.
